British Virgin Islands bareboating trip

I'm so upset the trip is over, but we had an amazing time. David & Deb were so much fun to be around and we had some great family catch up time. I can't wait to do it again! My Mom treated me to acupuncture at Leverick Bay Marina to relieve my sea sickness/motion sickness problem. I was scared at first but it was a very relaxing, therapeutic session. Only 9 more sessions to go and I will be relieved of motion sickness forever, wahoo!

I didn't feel like posting all the pictures again so please check them out on my facebook page. You do not have to be a member, this is a public link. Enjoy!

mmm raw food!

After spending time with my brother in the British Virgin Islands and seeing all of his meals, I've decided to try to eat more raw food. A woman lost 160lbs eating a raw food diet, so why not?! My salad was delicious and I struggled to finish it. Eggplant is pretty hard to eat raw so I had to saute it, but I'm getting nutrients from the coconut oil. I know what's for lunch tomorrow!
Ingredients:
spinach leaves
a small avocado
edamame
eggplant sauteed in coconut oil
soy sauce
lemon juice

Yay, people are caring about sharks!

I'm a member of a pro-shark group called Shark Trust. A few weeks ago a mass email was sent out asking members to email the Shark Fest 2009 director, asking him to cancel the event. The event is still happening but it is a no kill event, wahoo! Finally people are listening and realizing sharks are a vital part of our earth and are too close to extinction. Next step, get rid of shark fin soup!

Precious Aubree

Had a little reunion today with my old college bud Jackie, her husband Jody, and their precious daughter Aubree. Another little one is on the way!
